Excel 2007: Tip and Trick 1--Resizing cells quickly

Did you know that most people try to resize a cell in Microsoft Excel simply by dragging the cell to make it larger.  That works great except there is an easier and more efficient way.  Below is a method used by the pros.  Give it a shot and let me know how it went.  The more you use Excel, the more this becomes important to you.  It will save a bunch of time in the long run.  This trick also works in Open Office, all MS Excels, and in Google Spreadsheet, possibly any spreadsheet program.

1.  For example, lets say you have a sentence that goes all the way to column "C."

2.  Most people right now hover their mouse between column "A" and column "B" and then drag the cell until it is a littler further than the "." in the sentence until it looks like the second picture below.

3.  That means that if the next row is longer you just have to do it again.  I actually type all of my wording into the rows and then hover the mouse button between the "A" and "B" column but instead of dragging it, I simply double click and it will adjust to the width of the longest sentence.

4.  Like magic, the "A" column has adjusted itself just past the period of the 3rd row.
