Exporting Grades to Edline
- Open up schoolmaster gradebook.
- Click on Web
- Select the “Progress Export (Edline)”
- Click on the Gradebooks button
- Select the grade books that you want to export
- Select the Correct Date Range that you want to export.
- Click the Export button
- It will then start to export the students to Edline.
- You are not finished at this point.
- It will now open up an Edline page.
- You need to type in your user name and password that we took time to set you up with during the Edline training at the beginning of the school year.
- It is not necessarily the same user name and password that you use on your teacher computer. This is the password that you registered with to gain access to the school webpage.
- If you cannot remember the username or password, you can either talk to your site secretaries/principals or give me a call at 7790.
- It will now go through a process or two. Just wait it only takes a few seconds. It may look like it has gone brain dead, but it hasn’t.
- If you teach and do grades at more than one school it might ask you which school you would look like to export to.
- Click continue after you have made your choice.
- You will now see that reports have been uploaded.
- You might also see an error or two. This is normal so don’t worry about it. It has usually been about students who have transferred out of your classes.
- You can read the error and if you are concerned about it then go ahead and call me.
- Click the OK button and it should now take you back to your school’s home webpage.
- To verify that it is working for you, you can go to each of your classes from the list under the “My Classes” area.
- Now you can select the link on the right had side of the page that says “Progress Report”
- You will then select a student from that class and it should show you the current progress report.
That’s all there is to it.
